The Batman Files
I received ’The Batman Files’ from Peter B. in the mail a little over a month ago, and I finally had a bit of time to spend with it.
This book is beautiful. It’s full of rich letters, blueprints, designs, journal entires all in a very sleek black leather-ish cover with a simple Batman logo hit.

Red Field Notes Notebook
Field Notes is launching a new red notebook for Valentine’s Day.
One of the guys from Field Notes (Founder perhaps?) also took the opportunity to pronounce his love for his wife to the world. Not only was it a statement of his enduring love for her, but it also reminds all of us about how powerful the written word in a physical medium is.
I’m going to go buy me 50.

It has a bit of everything: videos, blog posts, cleaned up design, beautiful photos and the right amount of hipster for their customer base; in general, lots of exclusive content.

Google against SOPA
I, along with millions of others, love the Google landing page and the creativity that goes into it.
Not only is it typically artful, but it almost always celebrates things that are core to its brand.
Today, instead of celebrating, they are taking a stand against something that threatens their being and that of their users, SOPA.
They’ve also made it easy for users to take action through this landing page.
